Administrator, Sales - Sutton-in-Ashfield

Starting of £20,822.87 increasing over a 2-year period depending on performance

As a Sales Administrator, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to and answering incoming telephone calls, through a ‘soft phone’ system, identifying customers and offering a professional and efficient service to their requirements.

Maintaining a busy email and responding to customers is a professional and timely manner

  • Entering orders onto computer systems providing the necessary information as required
  • Emailing relevant departments and contacts with telephone messages to arrange call backs
  • Organising: samples, representative calls, customer service queries, fire certificates, technical information, and amendments to customers’ orders

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a customer service position, be highly organised and it is essential they have good IT skills. We are looking for an individual who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and has a ‘can do’ friendly attitude and a positive approach to work.

Are you an experienced Customer Services Administrator looking for a new challenge? Do you enjoy problem solving using your skills to investigate and influence a resolution?

An exciting opportunity is available for a successful administrator to join our busy customer services department. With customers at the heart of our business, your role will involve taking a hands-on approach to resolving customer complaints working in collaboration with our internal quality control and warehouse departments. You will be confident and clear in both your written and verbal correspondence providing regular updates to customers on their complaint and will have a calm, friendly and positive attitude when involved in difficult conversations.

To be successful in this role we are seeking experienced customer services administrators, who are confident on the telephone and skilled in letter writing, have previously worked in a complaints role and ideally have experience of working within a textiles business. You will be IT competent and comfortable using email, Microsoft Word, Excel and bespoke internal systems. You will have experience of working in a fast paced and pressured environment to tight deadlines and will enjoy the challenges involved in customer complaints.

Administrator, Purchasing & Pattern Production - Sutton-in-Ashfield

Are you an experienced administrator who enjoys a varied role?

We are looking for an Administrator to join our Purchasing & Pattern Production department. As Administrator your role will support the Pattern Production and Purchasing Administrators with the delivery of pattern books. Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with the Pattern Production Administrators to manage and place pattern book orders: keeping records up to date, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, placing and chasing internal cutting orders
  • Conducting print stock checks, placing and chasing print orders
  • Working with the Purchasing Administrators to manage stock of fabric and miscellaneous components: maintaining stock status on systems, placing purchasing orders onto internal systems
  • Producing cushion calculations: conducting stock checks, placing and chasing internal cutting orders, liaising with internal and external cushion manufacturers to place and chase orders
  • Ordering and processing swatch requests: manage stock levels, liaising with internal and external swatch manufacturers

The successful candidate will have proven administration skills with a sound working knowledge of Excel & Word. They will ideally have experience of analysing and interpreting numbers, will enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, and have a ‘can do’ attitude.

Candidates will also need to demonstrate a flexible and methodical approach to their work, have an innovative style with problem solving and demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills.
