In the realm of 4D, "WARP" means twisting or bending. A double cloth, WARP is made from 100% linen which is Oeko-Tex 100 certified. One layer is woven with a thicker, mono-coloured linen yarn, whilst the other is woven from a thinner, multi-coloured melange yarn. The effect of the two different layers gives the textile an interesting, scrunched appearance, while a stonewashed and aero finish gives it a soft handle. The fabric has been designed with the lighter colour at the back, acting almost as a lining for the rich colour at the front.
Linen is considered to be a sustainable fibre as it is a natural product and the entire flax plant can be used when harvested, meaning there is almost no waste created during the spinning and weaving processes.
Flax plants are cultivated at close proximity, producing a high yield and storing large quantities of CO2 each year. Flax plants help improve soil quality which encourages biodiversity in the local ecosystem.
